Well, the p's came up to visit this weekend and shop for girly baby things. Mom and I went to USA Baby, Babies R Us, Target, Pottery Barn Kids and even went by some shops that had closed down, much to our dismay. It was fun looking at stuff and getting ideas for her room. We also bought her some clothes for summer and fall - a few sundresses, a pink Rangers onesie with a baseball on the butt, and some sweaters for fall. So cute! I can't wait for her to get here so I can dress her up 10 times a day in all her different outfits!
On Sunday we went over to Stan and Cindi's for an Easter BBQ (in 40 degree weather) and got to get some practice in on Scott's 2nd cousin, McKenna. She's 2 months old, and it was quite interesting to watch Scott hold her and attempt to feed her. He pretty much had an "Oh crap" look on his face the whole time and any time she moved he looked to her mom and asked "Is this alright?" For someone who's so confident in pretty much every area of his life, he sure was turned into a timid pile of mush around this little 11 lb pink bundle! Looks like he needs some more practice before our girl gets here!
