Fun Game!

So Johanna has been bringing her daughter Margie to watch K with her since school has been out for the summer. Margie is 5 and just a really sweet little girl, and I think it's been good for K to have an older girl to play with. It's also definitely made her more comfortable with Johanna, which is good for the long run. Some funny side effects of this arrangement have been the things K has picked up from Margie. She has some new sayings ("OH MY GOODNESS!" "It's my FAVORITE" (said to almost everything, but usually cheese, beans or a Barney song on her CD) and "X out the world!!" (done while making an "x" with your body by spreading out your arms and legs - whatever that means)). She's also recently picked up the game aptly called "computer." We discovered this last night as Scott was putting her to bed. She went over to her toybox and pulled out her calculator and old remote control and placed them side by side up on her changing table. She then proceeded to type on the calculator and turn to Scott and say "working on the computer." She typed for a bit, then picked up the remote control, yelled "one fifty four," pointed the remote at him, yelled "doll" and then "psssssst," and then immediately went back to typing on the computer apparatus again. Then she said "Kaitlin's funny" and kept saying it until Scott said it too. This happened no less than 15 times, and finally he had to come get me to see the show. She continued the game this morning, as evidenced in the video below, and we also had another round at bedtime tonight. It's a very physical game, and the number Kaitlin picks is always 154, although Margie likes to mix hers up a bit. I asked Margie about it this morning and was pretty much treated like a fool for not knowing the coolest game around. "It's just our computer game." Oh, right.
