Yesterday the ice cream man drove by going about 90. I don't know why I decided to try and catch him, I could tell he was going fast from inside the house just by how quickly the music was coming towards us. But I wrangled K and we ran outside as he was screeching to a stop at the stop sign at the end of the street (why he kept his music on if he has no intention of stopping, I do not know). This of course led to hysterics and crying. When she finally calmed down she told me, "It's ok, we'll catch him next time and I will wave to him and he will wave back." Cute thing has no idea what the ice cream man produces, she was just sad she didn't get to wave! I'm tempted to keep it a secret a little longer, since I know he'll be around a lot this summer and Momma doesn't need any more ice cream that what is in her freezer!
Last night we went out for our anniversary and I took a tumble at the end of the evening and twisted my ankle pretty badly. I've been sitting with it elevated and icing it all morning, and she keeps asking me "Mommy, did Daddy trip you on your date?"
She told Nannie and Pawpaw last night while they were putting her to bed "Now, you can't leave tonight while I'm asleep, you have to wait until the morning so I can wave to you." She's all about the wave these days!
The kid eats zero veggies. Literally, not one that she knows about. I sneak butternut squash into everything I can, but if she can see it, she's not eating it. About 5 months ago (maybe even longer, this girl has a memory) I made her some chicken nuggets here at home and snuck in a few broccoli-cheese nuggets in hopes that she would eat them and not even notice. Well, she of course did and to this day, every time I ask her if she wants chicken nuggets she says "No Mommy, you turned them green." I've tried to convince her they were just a different product, but she's not buying it and will not touch nuggets I make at home. Bummer.
I know there are more things, but like I said, I need to keep a list with me to help me remember.

I agree, there are too many funnies to keep track of these days. I keep saying I love this age.
BTW, Happy Anniversary!!
Hahaha. These were awesome.
Hey I know of this cookbook that helps your sneak in veggies to kids food...you probably already know about it, but I thought I would share.
