Miss Kaitlin's Houston Debut

Little Miss Kaitlin took Houston by storm in the less than 24 hours she was here and as a result has a huge new following of adoring fans who couldn't get enough of her! After the initial shock and awe of her beautiful hair, everyone was impressed by what a healthy baby she is, all agreeing that surely she must be at least 4 months old. But the thing that blew everyone away, hands down, was the sweet, alert, and interactive personality of our beautiful granddaughter. Even after so many strangers tried to hold her (she was in no mood for such closeness with all these people she didn't even know!) she was able to turn on her charm once she was allowed to lay on her back doing what she loves best: kicking her legs and smiling and cooing at everyone with whom she made eye contact. She even let out a little giggle much to the delight of all. Yes, I know if ever her mommy and daddy need another set of grandparents besides Nanny, Grandpa Stan, her Pop and me, they will be lined up waiting to fill in for us down here in Spring! I'm quite sure that when she returns for Thanksgiving she will be talking and walking, not to the surprise of this grandma...
