Today, K and I went with my mom and dad to the Rangers game. Mom had great seats (2 rows up behind the visitor's dugout), so we grabbed K's Hannah Montana glove and away we went. K has been to a couple of games before -- once when she was about 7 months old (in early spring and we sat in the shade) and again last year when we went to the suite with work. She has watched a couple of games on tv with me and has a general idea of what goes on, but had a little trouble understanding why no one would throw her a ball. Let me be a little more specific....
Sometime in the middle innings, the Rangers were in the field and the pitcher was warming up before the inning started. As is per usual, the catcher threw the last warm-up pitch down to second base. Well, as soon as the catcher threw the ball, K hurriedly raised her little purple Hannah Montana glove up in the air. When she realized the second baseman had the ball and she did not, she exploded into tears, hid her face in her glove and cried "I DIDN'T CATCH IT, NANNY!" It was very cute and had several of the people around us smiling and laughing with us. Poor girl -- three trips to the Rangers game and she is still a newbie!!

Aw, that's so sad!! Especially the part where she got embarrassed and hid her face in her glove :(.
okay but as my role as a Nannie this broke my heart and as everyone was hiding their laugh from her, I was trying to explain why they would not throw it to her. She is an angel
