Easter Egg Hunts

We had THREE Easter egg hunts this year! The first one was at my friend Krista from MOPS house on Friday morning. K wasn't too keen on leaving all the cool toys inside (specifically 4 different strollers, one of which was a double stroller. She says our toys suck) to head out to hunt eggs, but once we got out there she got into it. Note, it's very hard to get good pics of this since she has her head down the whole time. Next we went to the park to meet up with the Mom's club for their hunt. Here's K and two of her good buddies, Gabriel and Landyn, checking out their loot.









Finally we had the Easter Eggsperience at our church this morning. This one was more of a carnival and big kids event with a hunt thrown in there. Not the best planning since the hunt was in and on the playground equipment, so K was much more interested in playing and sliding than hunting eggs. Needless to say, we had a "moment" when it was time to leave, but all in all it was a good time, and we got to see several of our church friends. No pics from this event, it was kind of a madhouse. And a sidenote, I promise she has other shoes, but seriously, every morning when she wakes up her first request is "slipflops?" so we pretty much wear them all the time. I figure I have bigger battles to fight than her choice of footwear.
